Banks and cooperatives · Ecuador

AI for banks and cooperatives in Ecuador: what to automate first

Start with an internal process built on documents: credit files or complaints. AI assembles the file and flags what is missing; approving credit, moving funds and touching the core stay with your team.

Start now if

  • Your team reviews hundreds of files a month
  • Documents arrive as PDFs or photos
  • Compliance can write down what the AI may see

Not yet, if

  • The core can only be read by touching production
  • Nobody knows how long one file takes today

Frequently asked questions

Can the agent approve credit?

We do not propose delegating credit approval to a model. Scope focuses on document and operations assistance; decisions remain with authorized people and processes.

Must the banking core be changed?

We do not assume so. We review interfaces and permissions for a bounded layer. If no safe integration exists, scope is reduced or stopped.

How is sensitive data handled?

Define which data is necessary, who can access it and where it is processed. Implementation requires security and data-owner approval; a technology alone does not establish compliance.

Do banks and cooperatives share the same rules?

Do not assume so. We check entity type and supervisor against official sources and the legal team before designing the workflow.
